Grub on the Cheap

I love food...oh my how I truly do. A good meal can change your attitude about life. I dare you to prove me wrong. It just so happens that my two fav discounting sites EVER are both serving up the goods today and I'm uber excited about it...namely because I'm copping both.

Over in Cambridge Tupelo is offering you $50 worth of grub for $25 via Groupon. I've never been to Tupelo, but I've passed it many times and drooled. Southern food...mmmm. As you may or may not know, Groupon deals are only good for one day so you better get it while the getting's good. I doubt that I'll be disappointed because I've never heard anything bad about the place. Definitely looking forward to it.

The other deal is from none other than the fine folks over at BuyWithMe. It's actually a sort of double deal. You can either go sit down and dine at Zocalo over on Commonwealth in Brighton or you can go to their more take out oriented spin off, Andale, located Downtown on Summer Street. $20 for $40 at Zocalo or $5 for $10 at Andale. I'm going for the Andale deal because I'll be working downtown tomorrow. Perfect timing. Can't wait!

Get Your Groupon

I'm excited to write this post becuz Groupon gave me a gift for which I'm very grateful today. I opened my inbox expectin just to find my daily deal, but in addition to that I found a $5 credit good to be used toward any Groupon deal! Yay! Seeing as though their deals are usually like $15 or $20 this is a huge to me and I can't wait to use it. I wonder to what I owe this honor. Might have been that time I hailed a taxi to ensure a safe ride home after too many Anarkali's at Mantra. Whatever the reason, I'm psyched. I was even more enthused to see todays deal for 1/2 off at the Ginger Exchange. I've never been inside, but the Ginger Exchange seems to have a super comfortable atmosphere and their food is not expensive at all. $20 will get you $40 worth of grub with todays Groupon. I'm considering using my coveted credit to get it...but I may just hold out...hmmmm

Daily Deal: Ski Trip

Who likes to ski?! I don't! But that doesn't mean that you don't either. I usually wouldn't talk about something don't care for...cuz it's my blog...but I know that skiing is super popular around here and this deal is unbelievable, so I felt that I had to share. For only $25 Groupon is offering a one day pass, equipment rental, cross-country ski lesson, AND a hot chocolate at the Weston Ski Track. Now as I said before...I'm no skiier, but I'm pretty sure that that's a lot for the price they're asking. The deal expires March 1st, but you only have today to hop on the bandwagon. So get hoppin!
