6 is one of my favorite numbers for multiple reasons. The fact that it's not too high and not too low on the 1-10 scale is one of them. Another reason is becuz my mom has 6 daughters and we call ourselves Six Set. lol. No we are not a gang, although we do sometimes like to act like we are. Anywho, I'm going to start doing posts every once in a while called The Sexy Six that are just going to be 6 things that I wish I owned. Today's Sexy Six is a special treat cuz they're all on sale. Doesn't mean that I have the money for them though. lol. I love to see friends in stuff that I can't have though (psssh no jealousy over here, please) so if you ever cop any of the things from the Sexy Six that I can't afford send me a pic and I'll be happy as all hell. Even though hell isn't happy. But you get my point. I'll always include prices and links in the Sexy Six for your convenience just cuz I love you so much. Rue La La is my absolute FAV private shopping site. I order things from them all the time. They always have the goods and just becuz it's a new year doesn't mean that there are any exceptions. This week they're busting out with sales from William Rast, Nicole Miller, Hobo International, and Sperry Top-Sider to name a few. But that's not it...what caught my attention was the headliner of today GALLIANO. Oh my. Prices range from $50-$400 as far as i could tell so there seems to be a lil something for almost everyone. I didn't see any ABSOLUTE must haves but there are some things that I'm eyeing. With prices like that this one is almost certain to sell out fast, so get moving. I'm not going to lie Ideeli is probably my least favorite private shopping site but only because they rarely have brands I'm interested in and when they do the stuff is usually still ridiculously priced. So imagine my surprise when I opened my daily email from them and saw a few things that actually caught my attention. First Jessica Simpson dresses. I love her shoes, but her clothes aren't that bad either. definitely plenty of fun dresses to choose from. In addition to that Culinhome is on sale for some dope prices. There are lots of things that I don't mind skimping on, but I've learned that you really shouldn't do such when it comes to the things you use in the kitchen. I bought all of my kitchen stuff from Walmart (everything the cheapest things they had cuz I didn't think it was a big deal) when I first moved out of my moms and into my apartment and I definitely regret it now. Pans get scratched or rusted or burned easily, utensils start looking like they can never look clean again....ugh it's just gross. So yea, I'm in the process of finding all new things for my kitchen so I can throw that other mess away. This sale might be just the thing I need to get me started.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Mine was great, filled with family, friends, food, and alcohol. Urs? I am looking forward to moving forward cuz 2009 was such a drag for me. Straight trashbag status. Ugh. I'm going to start your year off right with 2 lovely sales. The first of which is Laundry by Shelli Segal. She makes the most lovely winter coats (I would know cuz I own one) but this sale is for dresses. Her frocks and gowns are crazy sexy and sure to make you forget about out back to back snowstorms once you slip one on. The other sale is for...get ready... FENDI sunnies. Not a single one is over $150 *dead*. I'm more of a Chloe/Marc Jacobs kinda gal, but there's surely nothing wrong with Fendi. Both sales are over at Rue La La and are over soon and some things are already sold out, so if you're interested you better hop on it soon before it's too late.
