Farmer's Market on Dudley Common

I love the Farmer's Market. I believe that you should buy fresh meats, fresh fruits and vegetables...mostly what you need...on a day by day basis. At least week by week. I wish we had open air markets here like they do in Europe and other places. I only say Europe because those are the only ones that I've seen for myself. It was fantastic walking through and seeing people seeling fresh everything and handmade this and that. I love it. Here are some red and green tomatoes, garlic, basil, cucumbers, and green peppers (fresh peppers smell SOOOO damn good mmm mmm mmm) that I bought like last week I think. They're gone I'm sure cuz I use the stuff as soon as possible, but I go there often. Yesterday I went and copped a few things including some eggplant. I love makin eggplant parmesan. I cook a lot I think I'll start putting up step by step instructions on how to make easy stuff in the future. Trust me I am no gourmet cook but I got sick of eating junk all the time and started figuring out how to make yummy things on my own. I'm having a fantastic time experimenting. I'll make sure I share someday soon :)

Salsa Chicken

Copped this Salsa Chicken from a little cafe over the weekend and me and my mom tore it up. It was soooo good. I decided I wanted to try and recreate it and we looked through it picking apart the ingredients. Last night I went through with it and besides too much cilantro for my mothers taste (I did it purposely because I LOVE cilantro) I think I did a pretty good job. I thought that I had a picture of mine but I apparently forgot to take one. I'll either update this post at some point or post it later so you can see the comparison and tell me what you think. lol.

Fishing on Revere Beach?

A coworker and I decided to have lunch on Revere Beach last week. There was a guy sitting in a lawn chair flanked my fishing poles. We laughed our asses off and talked hella shit about how no one is catching anything on Revere Beach. Then there was a tug. We joked that it was trash or seaweed...then he pulled this big ass fish out. Shut us right the fuck up. We went over and talked to him and he told us he'd seen people catch 30 pounders out there. Needless to say I need to start learning to shut my trap sometimes. lol

Goodwill Steal

Snatched these Enzo Angiolini's from Goodwill over the weekend...brand spankin new....for $9.99. That wasn't the price, but the cashier was being lazy and didn't want to take the time out to look at anyones price tags and was just entering whatever she saw fit. I looked at my receipt afterwards and she'd just entered "corporate shoes". Whatever. Fantastic gain for the collection :)

Aren't they cute?

Capitalism

Shit like this excites me more than you could ever imagine.

My Pretty City

Went to the movies this past weekend to see my bm (baby momma) Angelina in Salt. I loved every second just cuz her face was in it. No but for real, it was a good movie. She was bad ass. A few parts were a bit far fetched (nothing went as far as the tank dropping out of an airplane with two parachutes and then someone popping out the top shooting down other planes like in A Team...where did they get parachutes for a damn tank? I'm just saying)...but all in all I loved it.

This is what I wore

Afterwards I decided to take a stroll through the Public Gardens and Copley. I started taking pics. Here are a few of them.

Trinity Church

John Hancock

Horse Sculptures outside of Copley Mall

Main branch of the Boston Public Library and Old South Church

Trees!

Flowers :)

Trees and flowers! :)

I love people that make my city even more beautiful :) I definitely tipped him after taking this picture. He was playing his heart out.

I need to go on the Swan Boats soon. I haven't gone since I was like 7. lol.

I wanted to lay in the grass. Then I thought about all of my allergies and decided against it

General Washington

I love my city. I hope to find a reason to stay here cuz I'm seriously considering moving for better opportunities. I'm also considering creating my own instead of venturing out to find one somewhere else, but more about that when I have a better grasp of it. At the end of the day only time will tell...

Quick Pics: Bday Party #2

I showed up to my 2nd bday party at least two hours late. I was on the bus. Drinking. In this dress (amazing fuckin shoulders) and these heels (JS gets it in). Lol. I was with my sister, cousins, string bean, bestie, and babydoll. Great fuckin time. They're all I need in this life of sin. Idk where the rest of the pics are cuz I didn't take any. But here's what I wore...

Balloon Booty

Posin' for the kids

Gotta give em a lil drama to take home honey

I just realized that I've never told the story of what came after the party...I had fun at my party, but there's nothing like being surrounded my your favorite people in the world and having random shit happen to you. I'll tell the story in full when I have the pics to accompany it, but all I know is that a man playing a violin with a speaker attached to his waist showed up outa nowhere with Steve and played Happy Bday and that Celine Dion Titanic song for me, a guy in a bathrobe came into Dominos and tried to holla...boxer briefs and all, String Bean was sitting on the counter talking to the employees the whole time (literally sitting on the counter facing them) and a guy named Ike somehow ended up at my party (actually Steve and Ezekiel brought him back with them from the liquor store) and wound up roaming the city with us until 5am. Good fuckin times.
