Halloween Outfit

Just a quick outfit post. I wore this to my sisters' Halloween party. I just had no time to put together a costume. Anyway, the party was a good time. Too good almost.

Added more shoes to the collection. I bought those bracelets at the same time. I wore them both to the party. The color is all wrong because my camera is trash, but they look cute like this too. I guess.

The next morning I found like 20 drunk pics of me in my moms mirror in her bathroom. lol. This was the most decent looking one.

L'WREN SCOTT OTK CUT OUT BOOTS

I had never hear of L'wren Scott shoes. And then I saw these bad boys. I thought...maybe I just didn't know that L'wren Scott had shoes. But with a name that well known and shoes this dope I couldn't accept that a shoe line had just gone under the radar. And then I discovered that until now none of the shoes seen on the runway had ever been produced. Well they picked a damn good place to start cuz these are the bees knees. And they're on sale at Barney's. Down from $2,725 they're only $2,635 now! Yay! Running out to cop mine! (I shouldn't have to write this, but please note the sarcasm). There's also an ankle version, but that's no fun.

Lovely!

An award needs to be given to whoever decided that this color should be produced as opposed to a gray (which I would LOVE too) or a brown or something. This is a beautiful damn shoe.

STEVE MADDEN FOR Z SPOKE BY ZAC POSEN

My oh my! I don't usually care for Steve Madden's interpretation of anything. I find that Aldo does a much better job with that whole deal. I did cop the Steve Madden version of the Balenciaga lego heels a few years back though. I couldn't pass up the chance of owning some piece of that genius. It's crazy to me how both of these companies known for simply creating their own versions of what's on the runway seem to have jumped into creating originals at the same time. But seeing as though I go through periods of not keeping up with things maybe I'm just late. Either way, I want these fuckin shoes. Bad.

ALDO- MACEDO

Most certainly wouldn't mind having this attached to the bottom of my foot.

Goodwill Steal

Snatched these Enzo Angiolini's from Goodwill over the weekend...brand spankin new....for $9.99. That wasn't the price, but the cashier was being lazy and didn't want to take the time out to look at anyones price tags and was just entering whatever she saw fit. I looked at my receipt afterwards and she'd just entered "corporate shoes". Whatever. Fantastic gain for the collection :)

Aren't they cute?

More Shoes

Two great pairs of shoes that I never posted. I <3 them.

These are the Steve Madden's that are the same color as my Puma's that I talked about not too long ago. Yesterday to be exact. lol. These shoes are perfect. The knot at the top...the T strap...the conical heel...oh my word. My sister Nima has the black ones and my cousin Quiana has them in hot pink. I think mine are the best though, of course. lol. I don't think I would have bought them in the other colors cuz they're too regular. They're cute on them though, of course. I think we all have the right colors for our individual personalities.

These are from H&M. I never buy shoes from H&M cuz they're usually so fugly. When I saw these I was like WTF H&M makes shoes like this?! Since then I've only ever seen one other pair that I would cop. They were an interpretation of some Alexander Wang's I posted a few months back. They were also limited edition. And Boston didn't get them. Boo to that shit. But yea, H&M heels are usually too low for me. I feel unstable in baby heels. These remind me of ballet a lil bit. I love them.

As much as I always swear I'm going to stop buying shoes, I can't. When I see a pair, especially when they're on sale...I simply can't walk away. Both of these were on sale. The H&M ones were only $20 and the Stevies were somewhere around $40. And they were both bought immediately after one of the times I pledged I would stop buying so many damn shoes. I just got rid of a bunch of kicks and heels though so I have room for new ones. lol. I'm going to try not to get any though. Hopefully I don't pass any redic clearance racks in the near future. I'll try to stay away from shopping areas.

For The Love of Heels

Alexander Wang

Finsk

Nicholas Kirkwood

I'm sitting going through my fav Shoe Lust and I'm in awe. People that come up with shoe designs are THE SHIT. Like architects man. It always amazes me how many different styles exist and how many more keep coming out. I really just can't get enough of it. I kind of feel the same way about dresses, but I don't think the love is equal between the two. Just look at the designs I've posted. Look at how different they are. Isn't it amazing? I could have gotten a much larger variety to show the true craziness of it all, but I was being lazy and just chose the first ones I saw that I liked. lol. Marvel at their greatness. It's ok to drool.

STEALS!

These are two of my fav recent purchases. Mostly because they were both originally over $200 and I got them for $48 and $70. Very exciting in my world! lol.

Me in action. At Fire and Ice with my lil cousin (she prefers to think she's my lil sister) and a bunch of other fam that's not in the pic. These Jeffrey Campbell's were sent to me directly from Jesus. Actually I got them from LF for only $48. I almost shat on myself when I found out the price. That vest that I have on is one of my prized possessions. It's reversible, all fur on one side (the side I'm wearing) and canvas with fur lining and fur lined pockets on the other. I convinced this lady at a flea market to let me have it for $12. My jean jacket underneath is Express...but I only paid $3 for it. I don't remember how much I paid for the bag, but I know I got it from one of the coolest people on the planet aka Punky of Haberdash fame.

Here's another pic. This mirror was a must have for me. I've had it for months, but I only recently decided where I want to hang it. In the mean time it's been chilling on my floor giving me a nice place to admire my shoes. I bought it for $25 at a burlesque conference. lol. I wish that it were feasible to wear shorts this short with boots this wintery outside of video land.....

....

....

You know me better than that. I def rock these shits with shorts. lol. I don't give a damn that it's not practical. Fashion isn't supposed to be. (check out those bad ass Charles David's in the background. Another steal. I paid about $60 but they were $100 or $200+ as well. I actually just now noticed that they were even in the picture. lol)

This is me on a night out. I believe I was at STIXX. Actually now that I think about it I'm certain that I was. The dress was like $15 at H&M, but that's regular price for their dresses like that (usually abour $15-$20 depending on the color/pattern) which if you frequent there you know that this silhouette is one of their staples. I own at least 5 of them. The shoes are Rachel Rachel Roy and I got them for $70 from Macy's. I don't remember the original price, but let's just say that I'm glad that I found them on sale there in my size cuz otherwise I would have been poor for a few weeks if I'd seen them earlier or somewhere else. The solid shape and width of the top are what got me. The color and material are beautiful too.

Aren't they fucking lovely?!

Thursday's Thrill

YAY! Another Thursdays Thrill is upon us! I am so pissed that I slept on last weeks deal which was my favorite thus far. I got caught up doing so many other things that I completely forgot about it and then it was too late. This week there is 30% off these three lovely styles. Last week the deal was on dozens of pairs of shoes and quite a few of them sold out. This week there are only three so if you want them you better get em while the getting is good.

Crazy Couture

(From top: Valentino fuckin TOOK IT THERE so I had to get the individual shots. Top 3 are all Valentino. Group shot is Givenchy....those gold boots in the top right...boooyyy..... last shot is Alain Quilici. Never heard of him but these shoes r fierce. They remind me of something BatGirl 2010 should wear...make that Bat Woman)

I like shoes…a lot. I’m not going to say love because I have a friend that will work for shoes. Literally. This chick would without hesitation accept a job that paid no money…just shoes. That’s love. Anywho, I was looking through some of the Fall ’09 couture shows and I found some hotness that I’d like to share. I found lots-o-stuff, but these are my favs. Hope you enjoyed them as much as I did!
