Poem #2: All Good Things Must Come to a Halt? Never Heard That One Before

I wrote this one a few years ago. A few of my friends at FPC liked it a lot so i would read it at like every poetry slam we ever had. lol. i hope u like it too :)

Time and time again
I ask the simplest questions…
Never once do you answer
Over and over and once more
I inquire what it is you’re looking for
You don’t know
You don’t care
Or you just won’t tell
Cuz each time I get the same
Blank
Ass
Look
Always, yes, constantly
I’m trying my best
To be all I can be
Like I’m in the Army
For you
For us
For what was we
But now lacks a definition
We defied the laws of mathematics
And made one plus one equal one
But now one plus one equals two
Which means I try for us
While you seem to do you
I use to know everything there was to know
What you like to do
All your favorite foods
But now all I know is that



I CAN’T LIVE LIKE THIS ANYMORE
