Readers, I love you guys. Honestly I do. I'm saying this because I know all I talk about is clothes and shoes and where the next sale is, but I'm so much more than that. You need to know what's going on in the world around you. Don't just breeze through and let people run your life. At least make an attempt to be heard. I'm saying this because of the Senate election that's coming up next week. I was working the debate last night and it was one of my favorite nights in recent memory. I got to meet Coakley, Brown, and Kennedy and I was the UMass Boston liason for David Gergen who served as the moderator. If you don't know who any of those people are...damn you look them up! Politics and politicians may be shabby and shady, but that's only because we allow them to be. The American people pay no attention, but love to complain. Cut the shit dude, honestly. Know your elected officials, pay attention to legislation, and VOTE! Get your ass up on January 19th and head to the polls. I don't give a damn who you vote for. Just freakin vote.
